In short: Invoice Maker keeps your data on your iPhone. There is no account to create, we don't run servers that store your invoices, and there are no ads, analytics or tracking in the app.
This policy explains what the Invoice Maker app for iPhone ("the app", "we") does with your information.
Your data stays on your iPhone
Everything you enter in the app is saved only on your iPhone: invoices, estimates, clients, items, payment details, signatures, business profiles, logos and settings. We never receive it and can't see it.
If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, Apple's backup includes the app's data. That backup is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
Permissions the app asks for
- Photos: only to pick your business logo. The app only gets the photo you choose and keeps a copy of it on your iPhone.
- Contacts: "Import From Contacts" opens the iOS contact picker. The app only gets the contact you pick, to fill in a client. It can't read your other contacts.
- Face ID: if you turn on Require Authentication, iOS checks your face or passcode. The app only learns whether it worked. It never gets your face data.
- Notifications: due date reminders are scheduled on your iPhone. Nothing is sent through a server.
Sharing PDFs and backups
When you send an invoice or estimate, or make a backup, the app creates the file on your iPhone and opens the iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes (for example Mail, Messages, AirDrop or Files). We don't receive a copy.
Purchases
Payments for Premium are made through Apple. We never see your card or payment details.
To know whether you have Premium, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID created for the app, your purchase history from the App Store, and basic technical details such as the iOS version, app version and App Store country. It does not receive your name, your email or anything you enter in the app.
Ratings
The app may show Apple's own rating popup. Your rating goes to Apple and the App Store, not to us.
Contact form
If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address and your message. The form is delivered by Web3Forms. We only use these details to answer you.
This website
This website doesn't use cookies or analytics. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Children
The app is meant for people running a business and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Deleting your data
You can delete any invoice, estimate, client, item or business in the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your iPhone. To ask about purchase records kept by RevenueCat, contact us.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
